Ideal for those seeking a deep body cleanse.
What makes this ritual special, according to Inês
For Inês Oliveira, TOPSPA Spa Trainer, the Himalayan Ritual is designed for anyone who feels that their body needs a complete reset. The combination of exfoliation, a Himalayan salt wrap and massage with essential oils creates a broader body experience than an individual massage, focusing on skin renewal, comfort and a progressive feeling of lightness.
Recommended for anyone who…
- Feels physically heavy or tired, or needs to recover a feeling of lightness.
- Is looking for a complete body ritual with exfoliation, a wrap and massage.
- Notices dull or rough skin that needs renewal and greater softness.
- Values a sensory detoxifying experience with essential oils and attention to the body as a whole.
Inês Oliveira’s perspective
“For me, the Himalayan Ritual is special because it works on the body through several distinct stages. It does not begin immediately with the massage. First, the skin is prepared and renewed through Himalayan salts, and only then does the body receive the wrap and the deeper touch of the massage.
Many people arrive for this ritual with a feeling of heaviness, accumulated fatigue or duller skin. Sometimes they are not simply looking to relax. They want to feel that their body is cleaner, lighter and more comfortable from the first contact.
The exfoliation has a particularly important role because it awakens the skin and removes the feeling of accumulation that we sometimes experience in the body. The wrap then creates a more secluded pause, almost as though the body has time to absorb the care before the massage begins.
During the final stage, the essential oils add a more sensory and relaxing dimension. The massage helps integrate the entire ritual through movements that respect the person’s pace and the way their body responds that day.
I like to think of this treatment as a pause for renewal. It is not only about softening the skin or relaxing. It is about restoring the client’s sense that their body feels lighter, cared for and ready to begin again with greater comfort.”
