Back & Shoulders BluSpa
50.00€
A targeted massage designed to relieve tension in key areas: back, neck, shoulders, and head.
What makes this massage special, according to Sónia
During its 25 minutes, Back & Shoulders BluSpa concentrates on the areas where the body tends to carry the weight of the day: the back, neck, shoulders and head. For Sónia Ferreira, Assistant Spa Manager at BluSpa Jupiter, it is a purposeful massage designed for anyone who needs a short pause with genuine attention to the areas where tension most frequently accumulates.
Recommended for anyone who…
- Feels tension in the back, stiffness in the shoulders or discomfort in the neck.
- Spends many hours seated, working at a computer or in repetitive positions.
- Travels frequently and feels greater restriction in the upper body.
- Is looking for a quick and targeted massage rather than a full-body treatment.
Sónia Ferreira’s perspective
“I like to think of Back & Shoulders as a small but highly useful pause. Clients do not always have enough time for a complete massage, but that does not mean they need to postpone care when their body feels particularly burdened.
During this massage, I primarily observe the upper body. Many people arrive with raised shoulders, a tense neck or a feeling of heaviness in the back, almost as though the day has become trapped there. Before beginning, I try to understand where the greatest discomfort is found and what level of pressure is appropriate.
Because the treatment is shorter, every movement must be properly targeted. I work on the back, shoulders, neck and head while paying attention to the person’s pace and without turning the massage into an excessively intense experience. The aim is to work on the right areas while maintaining comfort and fluidity.
For me, the distinguishing quality of this treatment is precisely its directness. It is not intended to replace a full-body massage, but it responds to a very common need: relieving the feeling of accumulated tension in the upper body.
At the end, the intention is for the client to stand up with looser shoulders, a lighter head and the feeling of having recovered some space in the body, even within a brief pause.”
